Venue rental
Our site fee includes our staff to set up and shut down your event, beautiful ceremony sites to choose from, getting ready spaces, a handcrafted venue and tables and chairs for up to 150 guests for $6,000 for weekday dates and $8,000 for weekend dates.
The venue can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests.
Tours are required to ensure you have a dedicated staff member to answer your questions. Schedule a tour here!
Booking and logistics
At Hiwassee River Weddings, we do request half of your site fee to reserve your date and your balance is due 60 days before your wedding date. Alternative payment plans can be offered as well!
Hiwassee River Weddings only hosts one wedding per day.

Vendors and services
Event duration and time limits
All events must be complete by 11:00pm at the latest, and music should be off at least 15 minutes prior to the end of the event.
Hiwassee River Weddings offers exclusive access to the venue for ten hours on your wedding day.
Yes, you are welcome to add additional hours to your reservation for $250/hour.
Parking and access
Yes, Hiwassee River Weddings offers parking for up to 100 cars with a golf cart escort for added ease.
That is up to you! Most of our couples choose a 11am-9pm, 12pm – 10pm, or 1pm – 11pm time frame.
Rehearsal and decorations
Yes, Hiwassee River Weddings offers a complimentary one-hour rehearsal walkthrough, subject to availability.
Fire safety regulations might restrict or prohibit the use of real candles. LED Candles are welcome and look fantastic in photos too!
Clean up and additional fees
Your venue rental fee covers the cost of cleaning the venue. Our team will also assist in packing up your personal items for a ease of shut down of your event.
Hiwassee River Weddings asks that you work with one of our essential partners for catering. However, if you have a personal connection to an outside caterer, did you ask him meet with our Venue Director and owner for approval.
Tables, chairs, and vendors
Hiwassee River Weddings provides exterior benches and interior tables and chairs for up to 150 guests. Our team will set up and shut down these tables and chairs according to your custom floor plan.
Yes, Hiwassee River Weddings has an essential partners list that produce beautiful, affordable weddings at our venue.
Music and entertainment
Hiwassee River Weddings allows small bands, but prefers DJs at our venue due to the size of our reception hall.
Yes, Hiwassee River Weddings likely has a full staff available to ensure a smooth operation throughout the event.
Alcohol policies
Yes! You are welcome to purchase your own alcohol to be served at the venue. Hiwassee River Weddings requires the use of our essential partner, Vital Event Services for bartending, and the purchase of liquor liability insurance.
Hiwassee River Weddings allows a bar to be open for four hours of service.
We do allow alcohol consumption in the getting ready suites, and ask that it is kept to a maximum of two drinks per person.
